What is Vampire Facial?

A vampire facial, also known as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a person’s own blood to rejuvenate the skin. It combines microdermabrasion or microneedling with the application of PRP derived from the patient’s blood.

Benefits of Vampire Facial

Skin Rejuvenation

Stimulates collagen production, promoting smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin

Improves Skin Texture

Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars for a more even complexion.

Enhanced Skin Tone

Evens out skin tone and texture, reducing hyperpigmentation and sundamages.

Natural Approach

Utilizes your body’s own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to encourage skin regeneration and renewal, minimizing the risk of adverse reactions.

Minimal Downtime

Requires minimal downtime compared to more invasive procedures, allowing for a quick return to daily activities with noticeable results.

What to expect during a Vampire Facial Treatment?

During a Vampire Facial, your face is cleansed, numbed, and a small amount of blood is drawn to extract platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The PRP is then applied to your face while micro-needling is performed to stimulate collagen production and skin renewal. After the treatment, expect mild redness and swelling, which usually resolves within a few days, revealing smoother, rejuvenated skin.

Consultation

Before the procedure, you’ll have a consultation with a trained aesthetic nurse or doctor to discuss your aesthetic concerns, medical history, and treatment goals.

Preparation

During a Vampire Facial, your face is cleansed, numbed, and a small amount of blood is drawn to extract platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

Treatment

During the treatment, a trained professional injects the PRP to your face while micro-needling is performed to stimulate collagen production and skin renewal.

Post-Treatment Care

As with any other face treatment, patients can anticipate some redness, swelling, and slight discomfort both during and after the operation. As the skin renews itself, the results usually become apparent in a few weeks and keep getting better over the next few months. Numerous patients report firmer, more radiant skin that is free of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as less pigmentation.
